How to get the one code activation after renewing the subscription

Hi all,


I'm a visually impaired user and I navigate using voiceover and I'm experiencing some trouble in installing again my subscription for Bitdefender Central. Could someone please let me know how I can get the activation code or in general how to install the antivirus?

The first time someone else did it for me but I'm learning to become more independent and I preferred to write a post here to get some support. I'm not very sure how this form works but if there is anyone that could help I appreciate that.

    After checking your account, I've noticed that you have an active Bitdefender Antivirus for Mac subscription valid until May 2024. The subscription protects one device and everything looks good on my end. Bring up Bitdefender and if the shield is green, you have nothing to worry about.

  • My Subscription expired 1 day ago. I went ahead and renewed it but did not get an activation code. I checked my junk and spam and nothing there. How do I activate my new subscription.

    ONLY Bitdefender staff can have access to your Bitdefender Central account, your devices, your payments/purchases and/or your subscription(s).
    So, you should contact Bitdefender Consumer Support by chat, telephone or e-mail:

    Chat is the fastest way to get in touch with Bitdefender Consumer Support.
    Select: Purchase & Manage Subscription -> My Bitdefender Central Account, click on Contact Support in the black box and then click on Chat 24/7.

    Was this a new manual renewal purchase? If yes, check for possible reasons and steps to follow here:

    Also, check the status of the license in Central before anything. Open the 'My Subscriptions' panel to find out if your new Bitdefender subscription was successfully activated. It could be that auto-activation took place for your account, and when this happens, you are no longer required to enter an activation code.

    When you make a purchase through the Bitdefender website, the activation takes place immediately after completing the transaction. No further steps or actions are required on your part. Automatic activation is available only for current Bitdefender users who meet the following conditions:

    • Have bought Bitdefender from our website before.
    • Have previously activated a Bitdefender subscription in the same Bitdefender Central account.
    • The previous Bitdefender subscription is still valid (you did mention however that your subscription already expired, so this may not be the case).

    If the new acquisition matches the name and seat number of a product already active in your Central account (e.g. both Bitdefender Total Security, 5 users) then the old subscription will be extended automatically.

    When the subscription activates itself automatically, customers receive a separate email, informing them that the subscription has been automatically activated and associated with their Bitdefender Central account. Have you received such an email?

    If the answer is negative and the new activation code is nowhere to be found then the best way to move forward would be to contact Bitdefender Support for assistance, as they can help clear things out and provide the activation code, if necessary.
