Mac request features: camera and microphone protection

ago i use kaspersky standard for mac kaspersky have camera protection feature after expired i buy bitdefender total security and install on mac but bitdefender dont't camera protection feature.

want request features camera and microphone protection 😊

If I'm not mistaken, there is a restriction on their use in the operating system. That is, a notification appears from the OS with allow/deny when accessing them for the first time. You can decide which apps are allowed to use the camera:

The same applies for the microphone:

Whether this additional security feature for macOS can be developed in Bitdefender Antivirus for Mac, it remains to be seen. As far as I know, Apple has certain restrictions on their system when it comes to third-party developers such as ourselves, and not all security features available on Windows can be replicated on macOS.

Nevertheless, following your post here, this feature request has been automatically sent to the Bitdefender development teams for consideration.
