There could be a few reasons behind this. QR codes generated for 2FA setup usually have a limited validity period. If the QR code has expired or was generated incorrectly, it might result in this error. Then, if your device's time settings are incorrect, it can cause issues with generating valid authentication codes. Try restarting the authenticator app or your device to see if that resolves the issue.
