Hi,

I want to separate my IOT devices from my main network by using VLANs. Can I add a router between my Xfinity Modem and my Box 2 without impacting Box 2 capabilities?

    This can be achieved, but you have to pay attention to the configuration settings. If you wish to follow this route, modem → router → box you have to set the router to AP/Bridge mode.
