Force program update (?)

Hello, my desktop computer few days ago updated to the latest version of BDIS (27.0.35.146)

My laptop instead is stuck at the version giving the firewall alert mode problem (27.0.30.140); how is possible that, after 9 days (the latest version had been released on 11 April), a computer is still with a previous version?

I hit UPDATE manually several times but it updates everything but NOT the software

I tried also to uninstall completely the software, download the installer from the web site but, after the installation, it is the OLD version, again

Is there a way to force the software to update to the latest version??

Between, the latest build for Windows users as of now is 27.0.35.147, which has not yet been updated on the support website. You can always check the link provided below, as some users receive the updated build faster than the information that gets updated on the support website.

Ok, thanks. So I'll roll back my windows to Defender and Comodo Firewall protections for one more month or two, then I'll have another try.

You should receive updates in less than two weeks. However, if after a month you choose to reinstall, there is a probability that you may or may not get the latest version. There is no guarantee of this. Rest assured, you are receiving all the protection you need, even if it takes time to update to the latest version.

What I found unbelievable, anyway, is that installing the software from zero, from a fresh brand new installer just downloaded, supposed to be the latest version or, at least, it'll download (?) the latest software version, does not solve my problem

The new installer provide an older version, simply unbelievable, against any logic
