Parental Controls - BBC iPlayer

I have just set up Parental Controls on my daughter's phone and tablet.
She has BBC iPlayer on both.
I allowed video streaming in content filter, and whitelisted 'www.bbc.co.uk'.

However the iPlayer app will not work - it cannot get an internet connection.
Is this because Parental Controls created a VPN tunnel?

Has anyone got this working?
Bitdefender VPN is not installed on these devices.
I am in the UK.

This doesn't sound right. Based on your description of the situation encountered, I would recommend contacting the Technical Support Teams, as more information might be required to troubleshoot this. State your contact reason / choose request category, then choose from the available contact channels, chat, phone and email/ticket. Chat would be the fastest way to reach them.
