Christian many Sundays passed please throw some light on this issue I had to termainate the package temporarily again on my 32 bit Win7 due to this.

I observed another problem with Windows 7 64-bit systems. Upon starting Lineage II with Bitdefender Total Security 2012 installed, it crashes all open web browsers and you cannot run any executable files on it untill the game and the gameguard is terminated. However this works fine if the suite is removed.

I have asked the testing team to double check the described issue. The update was released via Automatic Updates. An exception was made in Active Virus Control for this game and Gameguard.des.
Please check to see if you have the latest updates installed.
If not, please follow these steps to reinstall Bitdefender:

Thank you for your reply. I installed the suite again and updated it fully after that i observed this:-
2 things have been solved (system restarting typically after starting the game and the start of client)
Still after adding all the required files to rules list (i.e. all .des files and the l2.bin, launcher.exe etc) still gameguard.des is not given net access and the game starts with a gameguard error 114 and sometimes 160 which are gameguard initialization errors. I tried to delete the gameguard folder and download it again upon start of the game as instructed per the gameguard website but it did not seem to work again.
Issue still remains with some improvements.
At time of writting this reply my version of the suite was 15.0.36.1530
