I had bitdefender tech support access my computer to fix a problem. They did but about two weeks later some unknown hacker took control of my PC through teamviewer and has tried to make many fraudulent charges and purchases.

Don't trust bitdefender. I don't and I won't ever again.

    I'm sorry to hear about the situation you encountered and hope that you were able to recover everything if there was a need to.

    As I previously mentioned, you did not provide us with your ID or password to initiate the remote session.

    TeamViewer itself is not a vulnerability as long as you do not share your ID and password.
