No New Files To Scan?

I'm trying the trial version and have just completed a full scan. I then downloaded some emails but the menu bar icon has "No new files to scan" greyed out - is this because Autopilot is on and the incoming email will have been scanned automatically?

Hello,
The Autopilot scans the files in real-time, while they are being downloaded. Emails are small in nature so scanning them takes a matter of seconds.
When downloading new emails you should see a circle on the B icon in the menu bar, that indicates the product is scanning, if you click it fast enough you will see "Scanning new files".

Thanks. It's now a race to see if I can get to click before Bitdefender finishes. I haven't made it so far
