5g no longer there

i have firmware 2.1.14.9


I no longer have or see in my list of wifi networks my 5g?I have been connecting to it until either yesterday or today when i noticed its not there?If i log in through my router online and enable 5g it appears but when i disable it as it says to it is no longer there?Could this firmware update have something to do with it?

    Hi, are you referring to the 5Ghz WiFi broadcasted by your router? If so, the firmware update for BOX has no impact on your router functionality.

    Yes thats what im referriing to.As soon as i reconnected the verizon extender the 5ghz was broadcasted and i picked it up.Does that sound right that it took enabling my extender to get back the 5gh?
