The current Bitdefender version, build number link.
I'm sure most of us know how to find our version, build number via the BD system tray icon, right-click, About. As well as clicking the life preserver at the top of the main UI Dashboard, and Product information at the bottom. But here is the link to confirm that the build you're on, is the most current build available.

Hello.
In the link you provided, it says "The current version of Bitdefender was released on March 4, 2022. The build number is 26.0.12.56 ...".
But, that information sometimes is not correct, because as you can see from the screenshot, the latest build number is 26.0.14.62 and it was released on March 24, 2022.

Rats, I thought they'd keep up with it better.
In the past, members would post an Update thread when there was a new build update, to help keep each other informed of where we should be at. Thanks for checking on it, Gjoksi79
I know the rollout can be delayed for regions, but as of this morning, here's where I'm at.
@Alexandru_BD , if you need to delete this thread as to not confuse the members here, please do.

The rollout is probably in waves, sooner or later we will recieve this update (also still on 26.0.12.59)
1 -
Hello,
I couldn't possibly delete such an insightful thread and I am deeply grateful for your contribution.
You are correct, the updates are applied in rollouts and it may take some time to be released to reach all machines. The build version is usually updated shortly afterwards.

I always want to get the latest versions! For me, Search Advisor does not work for a long time on Mozilla Firefox! We have installed the TRAFFIC LIGHT addon to benefit, somewhat, the present green bullet

The same build at me! When will the update come? Often, BitDefender's technical support suggests reinstalling the product to benefit from the latest version of BitDefender, which does not seem to me elegant solution!

My build update hit last night :)

@hobbitmannn I don't think they provide that information anymore as in years ago, right @Matei M.?
I think we could end up in second-guessing them as far as what was included and what wasn't, and why. So maybe it's enough that they created a webpage link for us to keep track of?

Hit today here 26.0.14.62
2 -
WHY not?

Maybe because of what I had previously mentioned, that it could be an issue of forum debate of "why did you, or why didn't you include...?" But I'm just guessing as I'm not totally sure.
I know what you're saying though, as that information could be interesting just to see what was addressed. If you wanted to start a thread requesting that feature, it may get some up votes :)

Thanks for that update, friend :)
Yep, it seems I'm about 3-5 days behind you in its staged rollout.

That webpage doesn't seem to keep current. Maybe it changes after all the rollouts have been completed, as I'm still on 26.0.14.62. The last update I did get for that build, updated my wireless notebook first, then about 4 hours later all of my other ethernet-connected PCs.

Hi,
We do update the article on the site, but only when the rollout reaches 100% and the devs receive confirmation.
It should be updated pretty soon.
Cheers.

Hi @hobbitmannn :) I know you and I have been back and forth on this one, but maybe with all of the devices that BD can be installed on, it would be a headache for them to keep up with them all. And just doing it for the PC (Windows) users may invoke a riot as far as all the other iOS, Android, Mac users who would want to know what was included with their product update?
These may have been simpler times when they use to provide that information, but they did stop doing it for a reason, I'm not sure why, as that's about the time I left the forum for a while.

Come on, guys, we really need release notes for every new build.
This way we don't know what has been fixed or what has been added as options/modules.
It will not take the dev team a lot of time to write:
"FIXED:
- An issue when VPN turns off while..."
or some other notes similar to that note.
And not only for the Windows version, but also for the Android, macOS and iOS version of Bitdefender home products.
4 -
It seems that change in log is currently available for business products and not consumer products. We should definitely have one for the consumer products also.

Finally, we have release notes for Bitdefender home products.
A big Thanks to Bitdefender staff. 😊

While this is great initiative but is it not possible for developers to create the release notes available on bitdefender website for consumer products as they have for business products.
Release notes for business products :

That was my concern I think I posted in this thread, that there may be too many products of BD to be able to provide a log file, product release notes for each device version. Granted, they cover a lot of versions on the business side, but IMO, that is a more of a vested interest regarding the scope of the business side, compared to personal security software where they really do need to know what's going on, compared to us, who may just be curious as far as what changes, fixes took place. But I will gladly take what Alexandru has done for us in creating that thread :)
