Is Removing a file detected from quarantine sufficient for removing all the infections traces?
Recently I've founded some possible infections on my PC after I've done a websearch searching for infos/support,I've founded websites that explain a list of steps to do for completely deleting the malware traces,now my question above,is that all have I to do or is a better check-up necessary ?

To add here, If infected files are still found on the system and haven’t been dealt with by the system scan, follow the steps from this article to manually remove the infection. Use the scan log to find out the path to the infected file:
As a last resort, you may have to use Bitdefender Rescue Environment to eliminate stubborn malware outside the operating system. This feature is available only on Windows 10 and later. Check out this article for more information about disinfecting a computer from outside Windows:

@Alexandru_BD I've readed all the instrucions provided and here's my questions :
1.The procedure that you've explained applies itself only in the case that BDTS signals me that there are some infections on the PC at the end of a scan in the report showed am I right?
2.Reading that arcticle :
it explains that for what concerns Win 10 (my case) I've to "Click the System protection link in the left pane" but I don't see that on my Computer page (screen)3.About that one :
when I select the option for trying to do a scan on a Rescue Environment I get this error message :it says : " Your windows recovery image seems to be missing and the rescue environment may not work properly, continue? "
that last one could be because I've followed a procedure to enlarge my WinRE partition due to install a Windows update for it (I suppose) the procedure that I've followed is that one :
How can I solve that ( and let me know for the other questions please :) )?

Hello @Eno-Scott,
- The steps are for when Bitdefender did not (fully) remove malware. If the scan says that it dealt with malware and there is no other issue, there is no need to follow the steps.
- You need to be in Windows settings. Press on Start, open Windows Settings, go to System -> About and you will have System Protection on the right.
- First of all, try it anyway and see if it works. If it does work, no action is necessary on your part.

I've tried to do a scan in Rescue Environment and it worked but like I've said in my other post some functions were disabled even f in the scan settings I've let them enabled(Rootkit Scan,Boot Sectors scan and also I've seen some objects that werent been scanned)
The .xml report should be that (how could I recognize if it was the one done in Rescue Environment apart from the start time?)
About that seems to me looking the report that a lot of the objects not scanned that the AV has showed me on the screen at the end on the process are not listed here..is that possible?
