Apps say they're installed on my MacBook, but they're not?

I changed the email address for my Bitdefender Central account, from my business email address to my personal email address. I then rebuilt my Mac using the same email address as my Apple ID. Since doing that, I can login OK to Bitdefender Central (using the new email address) but the dashboard reports that the Antivirus and VPN apps are installed when in fact, they're not? I want to install them but I can't because it thinks they're already there?

    Since many users on the Bitdefender forum are Windows users, we can try a hit-and-trial method on the Mac product. Look for any place or option where you can see 'Sign Out' on your Bitdefender Mac product. Once you find it, click on it and sign in again using your new email registered with your Bitdefender Central account.

    Hi @Dave Gallagher,

    Simply use the "Switch Account" option in the Bitdefender UI. The product is still installed on the devices, but since you've changed your email address associated with the Central account, it's like Flexx wrote above, you must login in Bitdefender using that address as well, so that the software synchronizes with Central once again. Here's the procedure (go to Mac and follow the steps displayed there):
