Web Protection keeps turning off on Android phones? Here’s what to do

    Got message: It is known problem, team is working on a fix. Will be released automatic. (But similar Message was sent a year and a half ago, see this thread?!) Will there be fix at all?

    I messaged him if he needs the logs, since the log is from 4:20am till 14:30 pm. In between the app turned off web and anomaly defection.

    The update yesterday didn't fix it.

    But what is weird: It turned off after (!) I unplugged the charger. I sleep with flight mode and charge my phone. When I wake up I unplug and go back to sleep. After that web protection is off. Before it was on (I checked).

    6. Check for Interference: Disable conflicting apps like VPNs or firewalls.
    7. Verify Subscription: Ensure your app subscription is active.
    8. Contact Support: If the issue persists, reach out to the app's support team.

    Not only Web and Scam protection are being disabled, but App anomaly protection keeps turning off as well. Bitdefender is set as unrestricted in Battery saving, autostart and so on and so forth, all privileges and still it fails to keep options enabled.
    Phone does not have internet access all the time, mostly data connection is used when needed.
    I believe that this may have something to do with it as some or most of the functionality is only cloud based and when connection is back on the app does not recover correctly to allow functionality.
    Also not all attack vectors are online based, there are SMS/MMS attacks still and Bluetooth is something that exists so having protection at all time and not only when online is a must for paid top tier product.

    Let's all hope it's an app issue and not something that is disabling the protection to update the beacon and payload - read all our phones belongs to some 3 letter institution :)
