Does Bitdefender save scan history or is it only saved on device?
Is it possible to see months old threat detections to get a sample if the device used for the scan is longer in working condition?

I also think that the scan logs should still include this information, but to find out for sure, it will be necessary to contact Bitdefender Support and provide them with a BDsysLog so they can check. Since you have posted in this category, I assume that you are using a Windows device, so here are the steps to generate the required logs for this OS:

State your contact reason / choose request category, then choose from the available contact channels, chat, phone and email/ticket. Chat would be the fastest way to reach them.
