Windows 11 24H2

Today I did an upgrade to 24H2. I went to see how much the Windows.old folder takes up on the drive and BD dens of registry keys. For example:

  1. The registry path hklm\software\microsoft\active setup\installed components\{2c7339cf-2b09-4501-b3f3-f3508c9228ed} was moved to quarantine during a cleanup routine following the removal of a potentially unwanted application.Detection name: Application.HackTool.BEK
  2. The registry path hklm\software\microsoft\active setup\installed components\{89820200-ecbd-11cf-8b85-00aa005b4340} was moved to quarantine during a cleanup routine following the removal of a potentially unwanted application.Detection name: Application.HackTool.BEK
  3. The registry path hkey_users\s-1-5-21-129796790-2151492897-822729745-1001\software\microsoft\windows nt\currentversion\appcompatflags\layers\sign.media=610dcb setup.exe was moved to quarantine during a cleanup routine following the removal of a potentially unwanted application.Detection name: Application.HackTool.BEK
  4. The registry path hkey_users\s-1-5-21-129796790-2151492897-822729745-1001\software\microsoft\windows nt\currentversion\appcompatflags\layers\d:\games\gog galaxy\games\disco elysium\disco elysium.exe was moved to quarantine during a cleanup routine following the removal of a potentially unwanted application.Detection name: Application.HackTool.BEKIf you do not recognize any element in this path, you can choose to delete it

I have never had problems with viruses, all my apps are genuine.

Has anyone encountered the same problem?

    Hello.

I think that your best option is to contact Bitdefender Customer Support.

First, take screenshot(s) of the issue,

then create a log file on your Windows device using Bitdefender Support Tool, by following these steps:

with short description of the issue.

After that, you will get an automated reply by the Bitdefender Customer Care Team, with your ticket number.

Now, in reply to that automated reply, you can send the screenshot(s) you already took and the log files you already created in the first step.

NOTE: If any of the log file is larger than 25MB, you can upload the log file here:
