Long time BD user and just upgraded to BD 2021; WOW! no more widget. I agree with many posters, bring back the widget and, as before, give us the opportunity to turn it off if we don't want to use it. Certainly there is no downside to this if we can choose to turn it off if we think too many resources are being used. Thanks

Tried again today (Saturday) and still no joy. Whatever fix you applied to BD still doesn't work for me. I no longer get any BD messages when attempting the update, it just fails to install. Any ideas?

My computer is still affected. Have tried updating BD then restarting the computer with no result.

I have exactly the same problem. Have been using in BD for many years and just had to uninstall it. Tried to reinstall and encountered the same problems as Pethron; also tried all the same fixes and no joy. Can't install and can't completely uninstall. Please advise

Anjo, What I did was contact tech support directly via Email at: bitsy@bitdefender.com . This got the process started and my problem was resolved within a couple of days. Good luck

I had the same problem and Sergiu worked with me to fix it. The fix involved a downloaded batch file (*.bat) that once run allowed me to sign-in. Contact him for help if you are still having the problem :)

Matthew, I'd call directly to Box Support (800-804-4602) this is the quickest way to get help. The techs have heavy accents so they are a little hard to understand but are willing to work with you for as long as it takes to correct the problem. Whether the fix will continue to work or not is the question.

Go to Devices (in the phone app) and click on the three vertical dots next to the Bitdefender Box Network. Click About and you should see the Latest firmware version Current firmware version , a switch for Automatic firmware update and a button (greyed out) for Update Now.

My box has not updated; it's still at 2.1.1.5. In addition, the switch for Automatic firmware update shuts off every time I leave the program. Any ideas?
