Thanks for the reply and explanation. Someone could have saved over a month of time and just said what you just did and I would have accepted that. I'm sorry, but I don't usually have time to watch the forums. I answered as soon as I saw the topic.

Hello, If the software is working fine, you should ignore that message. It is only for the developers to help them debug any issues with network filtering that may appear. C0000225 means STATUS_NOT_FOUND. This error appears when BitDefender tries to pass intercepted traffic back on the network and the original connection…

Is your virtual machine in NAT or bridge mode? If you enable the "Increase log verbosity" option, do you see the blocked packets in the log? Do you have ICS enabled in the firewall?
-
Have you tried turning stealth mode off?
-
Hello, Please try to set your internal adapters to Trusted Local and set Stealth Mode to remote on all systems in your home network and see if it works.
-
Hi, Please try the following: -If you are using NAT, try to enable Internet Connection Sharing (ICS) in the Advanced Settings dialog. -If you are using Bridged adapters, disable stealth mode on the VMWare adapters and set stealth mode to Remote on your public adapter.

Hi davey, Please specify who is consuming most memory. Is it a specific process or is it the kernel? Is the amount of nonpaged memory increasing constantly when you download?
-
Most likely the firewall drivers are not registered properly. Have you recently done a system restore? Your best bet is to reinstall BitDefender.
-
From your IP address it seems that you are behind a router. You should check the router's settings.
-
Try to add an exception in Active Virus Control for the game.
-
Hi, Unfortunately, the firewall drivers didn't get into the last update (not enough testing). I'll see what I can do the to speed-up the process.
-
Try to set the trust level for the adapter which connects your desktop and laptop to 'Safe' or 'Trusted Local' and set Stealth Mode to 'Remote'

There is a bug in the stealth module which prevents some server applications working properly. It should be fixed in the next update.
-
Hi, This issue is scheduled to be fixed in the next update. Thank you for reporting this.
-
The problem will be fixed in the next update. Thank you for reporting this!
-
I think the problem was already fixed but the files haven't been uploaded on the update servers yet. I'll check with my colleagues Monday.
-
It is best to reinstall BitDefender after the update from Vista to Windows 7.
-
Thank you for taking the time to answer my questions. It would be of great help if others did the same.

I used the above for Windows Vista 64 Bit and it re-enabled my firewall. For some reason, and I would like some explanation, yesterday my Bit Defender IS2010 went haywire. I mean, haywire. My VSSERV (Antivirus process) started crashing without any notice, only the greyed out icon. So I did a supporttool upload to BD and…

Don't you mean 192.168.1.108:4899? We'll try to reproduce the issue.
-
If anyone else is having this problem, a fix is available and will be delivered on update soon.
-
The first thing you should do if the firewall isn't working is to uninstall BitDefender using the uninstall tool, reboot and reinstall. This is the easiest operation and with the greatest chance of success. If that still doesn't fix the problem and you feel a little adventurous, I'll post here detailed instructions to…

The rules are applied for all connections at once. There is no limit on the number of connections. Are you sure that all ports required for the RADMIN software are allowed? If you set the adapter to 'Full Trust' is everything working as it should? Do you have ICS enabled in the advanced settings?
-
You can rename the file to anything you want. If you need to revert the changes, just rename the file back in Safe Mode. This is a debug operation, it is not a permanent solution. We need to isolate the problem so we can deliver a proper fix.

Hi, BitDefender 2009 doesn't support Windows 7 and there are no plans to do so. Please upgrade for free to BitDefender 2010.
-
Hi, Set the UI to Advanced mode, go into the Firewall tab, set the profile for the network adapter which is connected to your printer to 'Safe' or 'Trusted Local' and stealth mode to 'Remote'.
-
The problem has been found and fixed. The solution is currently undergoing further testing, it should be put on update in a couple of weeks.
-
Hello cemtp, We are trying to reproduce the issue in our lab. Until we can give you a fix or an workaround we recommend you to either use the Windows Firewall or install BitDefender 2009.
-
Hi Cerut, Deleting httproxy.dll will completely disable http traffic filtering by BitDefender. I need you to do this in order to isolate the problem. Actually it is better just to rename the file so you can restore it later if that wasn't the problem.

We managed to reproduce the problem in our test lab. We are investigating it and we will deliver a fix soon.
