  • Hello. I would uninstall Chrome, restart the computer, then use one of your other browsers and download Chrome again. Make sure that you download it directly from Google, not one of the many software download companies that may add additional unwanted programs with it.

  • Adware/PUPs are becoming a huge problem. I rarely see actual malware anymore with Windows 8.1+ OS systems in my line of work. The majority of the problems I see are PUPs. Start taking a stronger stance on these nuisance programs. Thanks for reading. +1
