That's a little odd. It should block port 80. Maybe it blocks JAVA or Flash? But that's unusual. Do you get an error message? Or, post a scree shot please if it's feasible for you.

This one is really crucial. I would bet a lot of users have tons of custom settings on 2013. It will take few hours if we will need to set this settings manually.

I don't think that that will be a feature "yet". I think if if this is implemented, you will still need to configure your DNS server so that it can resolve the host names' IP address.

Not really sure what that is but how is the computer with BD doing? I mean are their any other issues? MAC address 000000000000 looks like just one of those broadcast messages. Not to be concerned with really.

What about some entries at the system registry? That's common today with security softwares. You can probably use free programs like Ccleaner.

You're still having problems with safe mode. In that mode, BD never starts or any other security software. I guess I would say that BD did not affect the skype performance at all. have you made software installations prior to getting this?

When you say slow, can you please specify the difference? Like with BD on, how many seconds does it take to shut down and with BD disabled too.

Is it 100% for a long period of time? Sometimes, it will just spike to 100% for a few seconds then comes back to normal. 100% CPU utilization would mean that your PC will freeze.

FTP is using port 21 and 22. try to add this at the firewall and you should be good to go.

From what I know, it should select which one is the fastest before starting the update. But the speed differences wouldn't be that huge to make a difference.

You can just do a simple system restore with this. Especially if it includes registry issues.

Looks like you've done a lot already. You might also want to check the Windows Event Viewer. Usually, it will show you logs on which modules crashed.

Hi Leighton, if you really would like. You can do a scan just right after the first one. Meaning, there ware no file changes. And see if it makes a difference.

Can paranoid mode being enabled be the cause of this by any chance? You can probably try to turn it off and see if it makes a difference skit.
