Online Threat Prevention is blocking an access attempt from a valid source
I have an app that needs to access a server but I get the following message when connections are attempted (from the internet, Wi-Fi connections work fine):
Feature:
Online Threat Prevention
An attempt to send your password unencrypted was about to occur on DDNS_Address:PORT. We blocked the connection to stop your private data from being exposed and tampered with.
I've added the actual DDNS_Address:PORT string to the Exceptions list, but it is still being blocked. What am I missing to get this connection "allowed"?

Hello @JayCeeYYC,
Based on your description of the situation encountered, I would recommend contacting the Technical Support Teams, as more information might be required to troubleshoot this, and the situation looks pretty specific.
You can get in touch with the Bitdefender engineers by choosing one of the contact channels listed here:State your contact reason / choose request category, then choose from the available contact channels, chat, phone and email/ticket. Chat would be the fastest way to reach them.
Let us know how it goes.

Different server - same problem.
This seems to be a common issue. Can you please clarify how to allow this connection?
I really do not want to stop using Bitdefender completely.
