Detecting Game As a threat

I've encountered an issue with the recently downloaded Delta Force Alpha game on my laptop. Despite adding the entire game folder as an exception in Bitdefender, the antivirus software continues to flag it as malicious during gameplay. Furthermore, after restoring the files, I'm unable to launch the game, forcing me to re-download the 50GB installation. This recurring problem is causing frustration.

    Hello.

If the game is detected as malware by the Antivirus feature, you should follow the steps from this article:

    https://www.bitdefender.com/consumer/support/answer/13427/

If the game is detected as malware by the Andanced Threat Defense feature, you should follow the steps from this article:

    https://www.bitdefender.com/consumer/support/answer/2393/

    Remember:

"Only .EXE file types can be added to the exception list. The extension .exe stands for “executable”, the file that opens an app. Other file types or folders cannot be excluded as Advanced Threat Defense only monitors running .EXE processes."

You could also report the file(s) as false positive to Bitdefender Labs here:

    Hello,

Bitdefender is incorrectly flagging your Delta Force Alpha game as a threat. Try creating specific exclusions for game files instead of adding the entire folder. Temporarily AARP Mahjongg disabling the antivirus or using its gaming mode might also help. If issues persist, contact Bitdefender support or consider a different antivirus temporarily. Remember to verify game file integrity and keep your antivirus updated.
