Passcode Did not work for bitdefender forum twice

No 1 screen shot is from my mailbox & the second one is related with the forum.
Today i tried to log in to see your response on the forum , as usual the forum site sent me a code for authentication, i put the code but the forum system denied it, i tried again but it did the same.
i was using Bitdefender's double hop vpn at that time, then i changed the virtual location to my country of origin & i became successful to log in.
Was this a system error or my location is locked e.g. i may only be able to use the forum from my original country ? There are few other v important questions out there , waiting for the answer. thx for the help.

  • @Alexandru_BD Can you check on this? Thanks.

  • Hello @Rock.87,

I suspect this has to do with the double hop setup, since you mentioned that you managed to login successfully after disabling it. Double-hop VPNs route your traffic through two different VPN servers in separate locations, which can cause your IP address to appear as if it's in two distinct locations. Some websites, particularly those with strict security measures, might flag this as suspicious behavior and block the login attempt. Also, since double hop introduces additional latency because your data is traveling through two servers, this can slow down the login process or cause the website to timeout, leading to login failures like the one you experienced, and I think this might be the case, since the error message also says "session is too old".

There are few other important questions out there, waiting for the answer - I think it is important to specify the fact that we may not have all the answers here, and sometimes it may take some time to receive responses on your threads. Keep in mind that support in the community comes from users such as yourself, and it is entirely voluntary. I think it's worth mentioning this, in order to set the right expectations. 🙂

In the event a solution is not found in the community, usually more information is required for troubleshooting, such as logs coming from the product and in some cases, remote intervention must be carried out. This will help the engineers obtain a better understanding of the context and the circumstances involved. Such specific operations cannot be carried in the public forum, thus it is recommended to contact the Support Teams, for a detailed investigation. Also, if your questions are time-sensitive, it is also recommended to get in touch with Bitdefender Support.

Going forward, I have replied on your open discussions today, and I hope the information is helpful.

    Thank you,
