Bitdefender scan ends prematurely
Hi,
I have a lot of files to scan. I let the scan run for over 2 days. Unfortunately, it is hanging up on something and closing the scan with an error. The second time I ran it, the scan just closed. I am now scanning each directory separately to narrow down what file/directory is causing the trouble. It might be a corrupt file or backup archive. My question is, if those scans successfully finish, by scanning piecemeal will Bitdefender keep track of what has been scanned the next time, or is that only a feature on the full system scan? My last question is how does BItdefender handle damaged archives? I know for certain that I have some damaged backup archive files (they should be deleted but I mostly forgot about them), and I have a hunch it might be failing somehow on them.
