Conflict with Rhino 6
I recently downloaded BitDefender, which has caused serious performance issues with the program Rhino 6 (3D design software that is critical for my job). I found people with similar issues on their forum, but no one seems to know how to solve the problem. Someone recommended just whitelisting Rhino in BitDefender, which worked for them in a newer version of Rhino, but it didn't work for me. This happened on my brand new computer, in addition to my previous.
Someone in their help forum checked for me - it seems that BitDefender changed something in the system that can't be changed back. He said "it might have caused the problem by installing a different version of a .NET or C+ runtime file dependency from the one R6 needs and leave that behind". Is there anything I can do to fix this? I am quite happy with BitDefender otherwise, and really don't want to have to give up on it.
Any ideas?
