Unable To Complete Initial Set-up Scan

Hi

I've just purchases bitdefender total security for 3 computers and i had no trouble with two of them. However, on an old laptop i can't get pasted the initial scan stage. When i pull up the task bar and check processes the CPU usage is at 100% with csrss.exe using 99%.

csrss.exe is a Windows OS process as described here. It is not a BD process.

You stated "on an old laptop." What is the hardware configuration? Does it meet the minimum system requirements for BDTS as described here under the System Requirements tab?

If you note in my signature, I have BDAV installed on 3 PCs. I am running BDAV 2009 on the 10-year old IBM ThinkPad T21 because it only barely meets the minimum system requirements for BDAV 2011 and simply ran too slowly.
