Worked for the first day or 2 after installing bitdefender anti virus plus 2015 but now when i do a web search there are no colored circles showing ratings on any browser i use...
This has been discussed here before. Only certain search engines will show the ratings. I don't use any of those so I can't remember the several that do except Bing and Yahoo. I am not sure about Google.
I use ixquick HTTPS as my search engine. It is supposed to be the most private search engine. It also has family filter options that will block non family friendly search results.
Google, Yahoo and Bing will show more results in a search but all three have privacy issues especially Google and Yahoo. I use a couple of Yahoo websites like Finance.Yahoo because I found it suits my needs the best. I do this despite the fact that BDW8 Security blocks several Yahoo pages a week due to privacy issues. Google's horrible privacy record is well known. If I can not find something using ixquick HTTPS search engine I will use Duck Duck Go which is also very good on privacy but not very family friendly and brings up some risky links in its search results. So I only use it on rare occasions.0
