Why Do Existing Customers Get Ripped Off On Renewal?

I have bitdefender (have for a few years), when I go to 'renew' I'm offered a Family pack for $119.

If I go to the website and act like a new customer, the same product is $59

I attached a couple of screen shots

Why am I getting ripped off?

Why are current customers treated worse then new customers?

It seems like I should be getting a discount off the regular price not being charged 100% MORE!

This seems like a scam and is completely unethical.

It is one crappy way to do business and drive away formerly loyal customers

    Hello Plane_crazy,

    Those are the offers available to you. You are free to chose which offer suits you best.

    The 50% discount is a limited time offer, it comes and goes where as the renewal offer never left the website. Basically if there are no offers available, renewing customers can still get the product at a discounted price.
