Wifi Turns Off When Lid Closed?

Not sure if this has anything to do with BD, however i have tried everything to stop this, including changing drivers, changing driver settings so it isn't allowed too save power, and battery settings. However no matter what the wifi turns off when the lid is down.

I know bitdefender can change your power plan settings but I have turned that feature off.

Any ideas?

Hello Zvql,

Since you disabled the feature in Bitdefender it has nothing to do with it, please follow the steps bellow and see if that works for you.

Open Device Manager.
Click the + sign to expand the Network Adapters entry.
Right-click the wireless adapter and click Properties.
Click on Power Management.
Disable Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power.
Click on Ok.

Please note that if you have a Intel Wireless Adapter you will need to install their ProSet Connection Utility for it to function properly.

Should the issue persist I would strongly advise contacting the laptop's maker or Microsoft as your Battery profiles might be corrupted or not setup properly.
