Unusual Crashes Today


So for whatever reason, Bitdefender crashed 3 times in the past hour. Once, I was able to get it working by going into Services and manually restarting the service. Rebooting starts Bitdefender, naturally, but it crashes soon afterwards.

    To be able to troubleshoot this situation we require more information.

    Please open a ticket with our Support Team using with all the details and also the log from the Bitdefender Support Tool that can be found under the name of supporttool.exe in your Bitdefender folder C:\Program Files\Bitdefender\Bitdefender 2016.

  • Supporttool.exe does not work. It freezes on "executing tools".

    That could indicate a instability in the operating system, please try to run the tool in Safe Mode.
