Total Security 2016 Full System Scan Freeze
Hi,
I just need some help to quit the full system scan that has been frozen at 38% for over 48 hours and turned my PC into a slug
I'm unable to stop the scan as it wont let me. I x'd out of Bitdefender and turn the computer off for 30 minutes and longer.
When I restart the PC and open Bitdefender and then modules and system scan, it opens up the stuck at 38% screen....."Scanning..."
The scan is stuck on a file similar to this and I use an example.....user-pc-name.000-windows-inetcookie-apps-vsdbx.txt (something of this sort)
I may have to uninstall Bitdefender Total Security in order to fix this problem, but need a tool for that.

Sorry to hear about this odd behavior. Please use the tool below :

After removing the product I would suggest running a chdsk to ensure the file system is not damaged.

That tool was for Windows, mine a Mac.
