Sierra battery drain, heat

Since upgrading to the Sierra operating system, my MacBook Pro has serious battery drain and is running hot. The issue is with Bitdefender since it goes away when I turn off autopilot. I had no issue previously and was extremely happy with the performance while running Bitdefender. Is anyone else having this issue?

I'm having the same issue as well, BDL Daemon consumes 90%+ of the CPU and I had to turn Bitdefender off due to overheating. I hope Bitdefender find a solution ASAP, I have 2 Macs running Bitdefender and both of them turned off due to this issue. I have one MacBook Pro mid 2014 and one MacBook Air mid 2015, so hardware shouldn't be the issue.

Hello,

A reinstall with a full scan afterwards usually resolves this.

Note that you must first uninstall the product before proceeding with the install process. (do not overlap them)
