The Bitdefender icon in the system tray is grayed out and when i try to open it, no response
the Bitdefender window itself not open yet
it is Bitdefender 2016

Go to Services.msi, Once on it locate Bitdefender Desktop Update and make sure it is running. Then locate BItdefender Virus Shield and make sure it is running. To start them Right Click it and click "Start"
If solution provided by Tornado25 doesn`t work, you can try to repair Bitdefender. Press Win key + R, type "appwiz.cpl", locate Bitdefender right click on it and choose Uninstall. After the wizard pops up click on repair button. Cheers!
