Private Internet Access VPN exclusion

I have a subscription to Private Internet Access VPN – stopped working after installing Bitdefender Antivirus, and they've instructed me to "Please try adding the following exclusion to your anti-virus software to ensure that it is not hindering our application in any way"

~/.pia_manager

The Antivirus manual doesn't seem to show where I would enter that info.

Hi,

Have you tried disabling the Bitdefender Shield and Safe Files in order to find out which module may be the culprit one? First, we recommend you to do that and let us know which module is the culprit one.
