Protect files on external drive

I'm using an external drive on my Macbook Pro but Bitdefeneder does not allow me to add it to the list of safe files. That drive and its folders are disabled when I view the list of drives/folders

Hello Alan,

 

At this moment only the application from Users can be added in Application Access, as it is considered the most vulnerable location. We have sent a request to our development team to add the possibility of allowing other locations as well.
