BDCoreIssues process running 99% CPU

I have noticed my MAC running very warm recently and when I checked the monitor could see the CPU for the BDCoreIssues process is running at 99% - was there an update recently that could be causing this?

    Can you let us know which Antivirus for Mac build version you have installed and the OS version? 


    To check the build version:


    - open Bitdefender


    - from Menu Bar select About Antivirus for Mac

    - a sample of BDCoreissues:


    1. open Activity Monitor, 


    2. click on View all processes


    3. click on the cogwheel and select Sample process


    - a BdProfiler log - https://www.bitdefender.com/consumer/support/answer/1863/


    - let us know for how long does BDCoreissues use a lot of CPU
