Port Attack
So I was just on my computer at school and for the 3rd time it says bitdefender has fund a port scan and blocked it. What should I do now to prevent this from happening again. I can't figure out from where either because the ip keeps coming up as private 10.80.1.224 and 10.80.2.37

As you are connected to a public network, these ips cannot be identified, however, as long as Bitdefender detected and blocked the threat everything should be alright. Our recommendation is to use a VPN while connected to public networks in order to avoid the risks implied.0 -
/index.php?/profile/211912-alex-d/&do=hovercard" data-mentionid="211912" href="<___base_url___>/index.php?/profile/211912-alex-d/" rel="">@Alex D. This was doing on a locked network meaning you would need a password in order to connect. I don’t think this would be considered public because public would mean these no password needed right?0 -
As this is the WiFi of an institution, there are several persons which can easily access the network. Also, if the password is not meeting today's complexity requirements and if the encryption used by the router is not up to date, then vulnerabilities can still be exploited.0
