Does anyone know what the content of bdsyslog is? I would like to know what is in there to determine whether there is any sensitive data being disclosed.

In addition, does anyone know how to get the password to access the file once it is generated?

The bdsys tool gathers information about your system, Bitdefender, applications and how they react. It also collects all known virus signatures to make sure that the device is not infected.

This will not gather any personal information such as the content of your e-mails or pictures however if there are any infected emails we will only know their location and the name of the file.

In regards to your inquiry on how to access the BDSYS log, this information is internal and it is not publicly available.

Does the file contain any passwords and does it upload any files or the content of those files?

No passwords are being collected by the tool, nor any other personal files such as documents or photos.
