Bitdefender Free Antivirus installation failed multiple times despite extensive troubleshooting

I have tried installing Bitdefender Free Antivirus four times on two of my computers, but every time, the installation ended with an error. (It also makes me re-download it every time that I retry). Bitdefender Free antivirus would have been my first choice, but I am not able to get it to install. I tried every troubleshooting step at https://www.bitdefender.com/consumer/support/answer/9354/ without success. I could just use Windows 10 default antivirus, but I would much rather use Bitdefender Free Antivirus. I could try again and post a screenshot or if there's a log file saved somewhere about it's installation attempt, I would be happy to attach that if necessary or requested. Thanks for any help that you can provide.

Kindly share the screenshot of the error, since the troubleshooting you have done is valid for premium range of products & not for free version.
