I use an external Samsung SSD for my back up time machine.
In a deep system scan, over 30 files were flagged as threats, ranging from Gen:Variant through to VB:Trojan.Valyria.314.
All of these failed disinfectant and could not be moved to quarantine.
When revealed in finder, they cannot be deleted. Apple message: "backup items cannot be modified" .
In Finder, although I can unlock permissions, I cannot change 'Read only' to 'Read & write' so cannot delete the file that way.
Is there any workaround to this?
