Bitdefender is Blocking Fallout 76

I just installed Bitdefender and out of the box it blocks Fallout 76, which is an online game.

I added an exception for the .exe and I opened the firewall for the app, but the app still aborts upon execution.

What else can I do? This product is worthless if I can't use my gaming PC to play games.

I resolved this. It was user error.

I had previously run the uninstall for Webroot SecureAnywhere from the Control Panel in Windows. However, once I rebooted my system, I still saw their service running (and received GUI prompts from their app). They provided a command line for uninstalling their product. After that, my game was properly behaving with Bitdefender.

We tested this on our end and could not reproduce the blocking.

Can you provide us with more details, what happens during the blocking, what notifications do you get (if any) and what is the behavior? Try to disable each module to find out exactly which one is the culprit. Simply disable them one at a time and launch the game afterwards. In regards to the game, is it from game pass, steam or bethesda launcher?
