Bitdefender configuration

I am unable to create anti-virus exceptions or make firewall rules. These options are grayed-out. Is the home user version of Bitdefender an antivirus for dummies, without these options? If so, this program is totally worthless to me, as it removes files that I need. If these functions are available in the home user version, how do you enable them?

Problem solved: Must be signed in as administrator to exercise those options.
