YouTube 'Home' always pulls up the same videos

Since installing BitDefender a few days ago I find that when I hit 'Home' on the YouTube main page I always get the same videos. It can be an hour later or a day later, doesn't matter. Prior to installing BitDefender I always got new video choices. There might be a few from a previous refresh but now it's like 95% are the same videos whether or not I have watched them.

How can I correct this? This is the only change I've made to my computer, fwiw.

I've done some research and I don't think the issue is related to Bitdefender. I have found various discussions where YouTube users were complaining about this:
