How can I get rid of a virus attempting to connect to an external site?
The virus is constantly attempting to connect to ny-t.r-tb.net through chrome, bitdefender continues to notify me every 20 seconds about this, but cannot find the thing directly responsible for this. I ran a quick scan and a full scan, it couldn't find it. If I'm reading it right, Joe's sandbox claims it injects itself directly into chrome. https://www.joesandbox.com/analysis/564184/0/htm.
I'm going to attempt to reinstall chrome to see if it rids the problem. If it doesn't fix it, I'll need some assistance.

Hello @Skyx700 and welcome to the Community!
Your browser connects to it either through allowed notifications or toolbars/extensions. I suggest that you clear the cache & cookies, remove any unused/unknown extensions and if the issues persist, reset your browser.
Let us know if the situation persists afterwards.
Best regards.

Removing a computer virus or spyware can be difficult without the help of malicious software removal tools. Some computer viruses and other unwanted software reinstall themselves after the viruses and spyware are detected and removed. Fortunately, by updating the computer and by using malicious software removal tools, you can help permanently remove unwanted software.
