    A place to start would be to make sure the computer meets the minimal requirements for installing Bitdefender: 

    Operating System: macOS X Yosemite (10.10) or later

    Available free hard disk space: 1 GB free space

    Browsers Supported: Safari, Firefox, Google Chrome

    *You may install Bitdefender VPN only on devices with macOS Sierra(10.12 or later)

    Not having the minimum system requirements does not mean you cannot run Bitdefender on your system. But we cannot guarantee that the software will run adequately. Do you also receive the error message "Downloading one of the installation files failed"? If this error message is received during the Bitdefender installation: "Some installation files are corrupted" OR "There was a problem downloading one of the installation files", please make sure that an Internet connection is available and try again. This could be an issue with your internet connection and the kit wasn't downloaded completely.

    Retry the installation process by following the exact steps described here:
