Bitdefender constantly saying I am being attacked by vssadmin.exe malware
I have tried to delete. Search online on how to remove it. Most of the advice online is to install their dodgy product or run their dodgy programme.
How can I remove this malware ? Is this 100% malware or is this a false positive?
Thank you so much for any help. I would really rather not reinstall the computer but will do this if this is the best option.

Hello.
vssadmin.exe is a part of Microsoft Windows Operating System program developed by Microsoft Corporation. Some applications or games may need this file to work properly.
The legit vssadmin.exe process is located in the C:\Windows\System32 folder. If it is located elsewhere, it could be malware as a virus can have any name. Some virus can pretend to be vssadmin.exe and reside in the Windows or the System32 folder.
