Bitdefender delays Outlook account sync
I'm running Bitdefender Total Security on a high spec, Windows 11 desktop. After log-on, Outlook won't sync my email accounts until the Bitdefender tray icon appears which can take the best part of a minute. I've done several tests and I'm pretty sure Outlook sync function and the tray icon loading are linked.
I understand that the tray agent is initiated via a scheduled task with a delay incorporated within it. Is there anyway the delay on this task can be reduced? As it is, it's rather annoying.
Thanks for any input

Hello @MadUKScientist,
Indeed, the Agent is now scheduled to start with a delay after boot. Therefore, the system tray icon appears a little bit later, as explained in the below article:
This interval cannot be reduced. However, I am not sure if this affects the Outlook account sync.. my advice would be to contact our Support Teams and ask them if there is a connection here. You can get in touch with our engineers by choosing one of the contact methods available here:

Thanks for the response. I think Bitdefender isn't to blame on this occasion. I've found another culprit in this instance (Acronis) which was working in the background without my knowledge.
