Application Control. Any Help?

Hi all,

NewB here so please be gentle :šŸ˜‰

We are trying to get Application Control working on our subscription. We bought GravityZone Business Security Premium, plus Patch Management and Full Disk Encryption.

We are a small company, all of us operating remotely from each other spread across Australia.

According to what I have read Application Control should appear just above Device Control when you try to reconfigure a client, but it's not there šŸ˜’

I have looked everywhere I can think of to get it going, but to no avail.

Any help to get this established would be MOST appreciated.

    I do apologize for the late reply.


    Can you please let me know what OS you are using? Based on your description of your situation, the Application Control module is unavailable at all which leads me to believe you run a Mac OS system but i do not wish to assume this fact. If indeed you run MacOS, Application Control is not available for this system.

    Sorry I should have made that clear.

    Actually we are all running Win11 Pro.

    We are not on the same network segment as we are all independent of each other if that makes any difference.

    I do apologize for the late reply.


    Based on the this article, Bitdefender compatibility with Windows 11 starts with version 7.2.2.92. Can you double check if you are running the latest version of the Product?

    If you are, i strongly suggest a full uninstall and reinstall of the latest version of the product and return here with the results.

    Hello everybody! I am currently facing the same problem. Our company uses Windows 10 and has a GravityZone Business Security Standard subscription, but this feature also does not appear in agent or policy settings.


    I spent some time researching and found this page in the Support Center which states that the Application Control feature is only available for GravityZone On-premises distributions. Did I understand correctly? If so, is there already a forecast for this availability for the GravityZone Cloud? It is a very valuable feature for me and my team, we would like to be able to make use it as soon as possible.
