Bitdefender Firewall no longer working after update to 27.0.16.87
My bitdefender total security updated to version 27.0.16.87 without problem this morning then a few hours later it updated again to the same version and now the firewall no longer works.
I have already uninstalled using the bitdefender uninstaller tool and reinstalled, it installed normally but then after a reboot it again updated to the same version during the update check 15 min after boot, I have this issue on 2 windows 10 computers since today.

I just heard from a friend who also has the same version of bitdefender total security on windows 10 and she has the same issue, bitdefender updated from 27.0.16.87 to 27.0.16.87 and now the firewall no longer works.

The fix has just been sent out. You may need to restart your device first, then try a right-click system tray icon update, and it should show the update happening incrementally, i.e. 32% 45% 78% etc, until it updates. A restart is not required.

Check if you have the latest build:
Pay attention on the product update's date, not the build number.
The fix has been deployed with the regular hourly updates, not as a new build.

ah yes you are right thanks but I still have issues, i enabled the firewall but it just disabled again, rebooted, and the same thing, Should I reinstall it?

Uninstall the Bitdefender program using the Uninstall Tool:
It will completely remove the program.
Next, reinstall Bitdefender from your Bitdefender Central account, by following these steps:

OK I finally got it working but I had to reset Windows because nothing worked for me, After that, I was able to reinstall Bitdefender and everything is working now
