2024-01 MS security update will download but not install

Do you get any error messages? If so, where? Could you post a picture of the problem? What operating system are you using and what version?

It could be this:
Apparently, it's a known MS issue, unrelated to Bitdefender.

The Installing "button" just goes back to "install"

Additionally, an alternate way to install the update is to visit https://www.catalog.update.microsoft.com/Home.aspx
In the search bar, enter the KB version. If the result shows up, you can then download a standalone/offline installer of the same KB version based on your Windows version and architecture.
